It seems like two movies come out around the same time, about basically the same thing all of the time. Right? Turns out, it’s not as common as you may think and some studios take active steps not to let it happen. The phenomenon is referred to as Twin Films and that is our topic of the day.  Dan takes the helm on this one while he gives us some examples from the 80’s and beyond. Plus, we might go off on a little tangent about Alien 3. Hey, it happens. How often do twin films actually happen?  Are Dante’s Peak and Volcano really that similar? Would Deep Impact be remembered better if it had a kickass Aerosmith soundtrack too? You’ll have to tune in to find out.
